A boring day of my life?
Since I came to Korea waking up in the morning has been a struggle. I am not sure if my body didn't manage to adjust to Korean time even after 4 years or I am just too lazy nowadays.
Being in Korea made me think that my life will be full of excitement amd adventure, but in contrary, my life is boring and i don't do anything exciting.
I go to school 3 days per week, the rest of the time I am at work and Friday and Saturday I meet my friends. If I don't go to work I stay home and watch movies or sleep. Basically this is and was my schedule for 4 years and a few months now.
So, waking up, taking a shower, drink coffee with my roommates. Until now everything worked as planned, or as usual. Leaving the house, taking the subway and arriving at school was the same. All boring and nothing uncommon. Like I already said my life wasn't full of that "je ne sais quoi".
Classes are not always boring but being in school for 20 years or more is not full of happiness. Sometimes after some age your brain doesn't want to move like it did at 18 or 20.
Until now nothing happened so I was expecting that I will just arrive home and finish my homework and sleep, like usual after eating. But something did happened. Something that changed my mind and also made me so happy in such a short time.
I was in the subway, alone since my roommate had a group meeting and I was talking with my mom on the phone. When I got up from my chair to go out and change the subway lines I also closed the conversation with my mom. I wanted to play some music when someone touched my shoulder and started to talk with me. I looked at the person for several seconds without even paying attention too much to his words. He was tall, handsome and very stylish. I asked myself several times why is this guy talking with me. His eyea were pure black like an abyss where you could loose your soul. His lips were full and he had this playful smile in the corner of his mouth. On his right cheek he had a mole that made him so sexy. He was definitely way taller than me since I had to tilt my head to look at him, maybe 1.80 something.
And then it hit me, while studying his features and also asking myself why is he talking with me I saw it, more properly said I heard it. He was speaking in Romanian with me. Weeeeird!
I tried to get out from the shock and to talk with him and trying not to sound stupid enough I told him to repeat what he said to me because I couldn't hear.
He told me he was born in 1989 and that after army he worked in Romania with his uncle at his company. Therefore he stayed there 4 years and he studied Romanian language for a bit. Now he was back in Korea to finish university. Another shock was that he was in Business like me, but in Kyunghee University.
This strange meeting ended up not only with a dinner but with a beautiful friendship that turned out to be an amazing relationship later on.
My life could be boring, but just a small coincidence changed it for a few seconds into the most amazing story that I may tell to my grandsons someday. Never search for love because love will find you when you least expect it.
